PROFILE
MONICA PARRA
Monica Parra has been teaching Tango worldwide with over 30 years of experience as a teacher. With her own teaching methods, she has been training future professional dancers and Tango instructors in Argentina, Europe and the US since 1996.
She is also a judge in Championships in Buenos Aires and worldwide for the Tango de Pista category.
Monica runs her own Tango Studio in Buenos Aires, she is also a teacher of group class for general dancers at the most famous Salon Canning in Buenos Aires. Since 2020, she was one of the organizers of Si Sos Brujo, a high level Milonga known for advanced dancers and professionals at the historic Club Fulgor in Villa Crespo, Buenos Aires.
In 2003, she partnered with the famous maestro Carlos Gavito for Argentine TV program Graduados, he was also her show partner for shows at Salón Canning. In 2014, there was a special tribute for her and her Tango career at the Poker de Reinas event in Buenos Aires. She also appeared in movies and shows since 2011.
